UU Note: We wonder if this is one of the the counters from the now shuttered Lakeview Foods that was in the Wilson L? Any ideas?
I called it in last night. It was still there this morning.
ReplyDeleteI called it in again today, and got transferred to Streets and San. The person who answered the phone (not Don) said that it couldn't be picked up until Friday.
I'm having trouble with my comments "sticking" today, so one last try:
ReplyDeleteI called this in to 311 Wednesday, late afternoon.
I called this in again on Thursday. 311 transferred my call directly to 46th Ward Streets and San. The man I spoke with (not Don) told me that it could not be picked up until Friday.
Why not flag down one of the local scrapper trucks and tell them it is theirs for the taking? Or how about rolling it into an alley next to a dumpster? Or into the middle of Wilson and Broadway then call the cops for debris in the road.

Move it to the corner of Wilson and Broadway for the street vendors to use outside the check cashing/payday loan store.
