We passed by Anna Maria Pasteria (4400 North Clark, at Montrose) and saw they're having a Wednesday dinner special through May. We've never been, but have heard good things. Mangia!
I haven't been, since they moved from B'way and Irving...but I will! I always end up at Francesca's on Bryn Mawr, but since I'm so close to A.M. I have no excuse.
My favorite pasta in the city. Their desserts are also incredible. The owners and staff are also friendly. Everyone should give them a try. Whenever my parents come in from the burbs we go there.
It's a pretty great deal. We went last night. Anna Maria Pasteria has not disappointed us. Oh... and the wine that you get isn't bad, either. I say it's certainly worth a shot if you've never been.

ReplyDeleteA breath of fresh air in Uptown/Ravenswood; one of the few real gourmet-quality sit-down restaurants around. Too bad they're so parking-challenged.
ReplyDeleteI love this place. The actual sit-down part is lovely but they also do takeout and delivery, and everything I've had there has been really great.
ReplyDeleteThat does it......I have to go!
