UU Note: What are some local businesses you recommend to your neighbors and friends?
Aside from actually visiting local "Mom & Pop" shops, I like paying in cash to save them on processing fees. It's sometimes hard with larger bills at restaurants, but when picking up a slice from Gigio's or a snack from the convenience store, reach into your pocket and pull out the change.

ReplyDeleteFresh Harvest Market over Jewel any day and the chicken burrito at La Ciudad is probably the best I've ever had! Plus, BYOB...you can't beat that! Other good joints include DIB, Agame', & Carmela's! We're starting to get some good restaurants now we just need more than Mexican and Sushi. Any recommendations?
