  1. There needs to be a shift in mentality to correctly label gang members killing people as "Domestic Terrorists"

Enough of letting our street being controlled by criminal elements. Plain and simple.

  2. Good news. While it would seen the simple solution for these thugs would be to stop the tattooing and flashing signs to avoid getting pinched, they're too stupid to do that. Gang pride and all.. Start rounding them up.

  3. I'd like to know how you prove someone is in a gang, and how that stands up on appeal.

  4. If they're on a corner throwing up a gang sign or wearing the colors, it's pretty self-evident

  5. Jane, I'm guessing that someone arrested with a gun, probably has a record on file being a gang member.

    This is good news.

  6. They are going to have a problem with this. I would like to read the definition of 'gang'. There are first amendment issues involved.

  7. More political posturing and grandstanding. It is a alreadya felony to "pack heat"in public
    in Illinois.
Anyone with record of anything more than a minor misdemenor cannot obtain a foid card and cannot own posess or buy a gun in Illinois.Federal gun dealer rules provide for heavy penalties for those who would sell or provide guns to those who don't qualify to own them. All armed gangmembers are already violating several or all the above laws.So you see there are alredy sufficient laws to deal with armed thugs. Why aren't these laws fully enforced. In fact the gun laws are usually the first offenses that are "dealt down".

  8. Justyouraverageguy is right. This is more grandstanding by the politicians to make you think they are earning their keep. There are more than enough laws on the books to kep criminals where they belong which is behind bars. This is simply to make you feel good. Call Felony Review sometime and see what response you receieve fom a States Attorney when you try to either get felony charges approved on what is clearly a felony or to get an upgrade. You will be amazed at the dance they do to deny charges. You will be amazed at the things that THEY require for a Felony charge, none which BTW are in the statute.

  9. The next NRA guy that tells me guns don't shoot people, people do, I will just grab their gun and shoot them and say your right.
What a ridiculous non statement, who ever bought into that I dunno.

  10. @Killian - Was that post the result of a "wake-and-bake", or did you just bump your head on the way UU this morning?

  11. I'm an NRA guy and I agree with the statement that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Refusing to acknowlege that that's an accurate statement is the typical ploy of those that want to hold an object accountable rather than the person that uses that object accountable. Help take America back fom the thugs. Join the NRA and lobby for our city government to obey the Constitution. Now where do you want to meet so you can TRY to take my gun away from me?
