  1. I hope those lamenting that businesses are forced to bend to the will of the alderman (in Mo Money) will consider supporting an organization that will not bend.

    I'm in.

  2. I'm going tonight, too. I hope to see a whole bunch of you there supporting your neighborhood businesses. If you don't, who will? And if they don't get your support and close, who will you blame then? The alderman? WAMA seems to be the only organization getting OUR local businesses involved with these events; not the alderman, not the SSA, not Uptown Chamber. And WAMA isn't connected to the alderman or any other political organization so you all should do whatever you can to help these folks. And, to add to all of this help WAMA is doing to drive business to these places, most of these places aren't even members of WAMA, so WAMA is helping business that doesn't help WAMA. Check their website, you can see for yourself. You can count on me being there tonight to help in my own small way.

  3. I just got back from the event and really loved it, plus I met a lot of nice wonderful neighbors.

Kudos to WAMA and anyone else who promotes businesses in the neighborhood. We're fortunate to have so many nice restaurants in the area.
