We just found out about a program called "Inspired Youth" that's looking for tutors to help local Uptown kids, from 1st grade through high school, with their reading and writing skills. It's all local: sessions take place at the Bezazian Library on Ainslie, and the Margate Park fieldhouse. Tutoring hours are in the afternoon, evenings and Saturdays. Interested? I've tutored through this program for a year now, and I encourage people to participate. It's a great experience.
