This past week, Uptown resident Liza Whitacre died in a biking accident at Wellington and Damen. In memory of Liza, who lived on the 4900 block of Winthrop, "at 7 p.m. Sunday friends and family members will ride the few blocks between Metropolis Coffee Co., 1039 W. Granville Ave., where Whitacre worked, to the place where she died," according to the Daily Herald. If you were a friend or neighbor, you're invited to ride in her memory.

Memorial Bike Ride This Evening
