Dear Neighbors, I want to bring to your attention a street collapse on the 2400 block of W Lawrence Avenue between Artesian and Campbell. As a safety measure, Lawrence Avenue will be closed from Western to California until further notice. Please avoid this portion of Lawrence Avenue as much as possible. We will be sharing more information with you when the facts become available.
Update: Westbound Montrose and Wilson were hellish this evening, all the way to the lake, due to the Lawrence closure. Leave plenty of time if you're heading west.
sounds like what happened on Montrose. the city's infrastructure is no spring chicken.
ReplyDeleteWith all the new construction the old infrastruture cannot handle it. I hope the main drains in the streets can handle all the load it will receive from the Wilson Yard Projects...
