I was out and about today and wanted to share some pics (click to enlarge) from around the area:
Irving/Broadway’s new Standard Bank is now open...
The Gill Park building is STILL burnt out on the upper floors...
and then lastly, at Irving Park and Sheridan, there’s an empty lot that has become quite lovely with the weeds and garbage. It was a teardown last year (from Thorek Hospital) that they fenced off.
I like the South side of uptown. I never see gangs and if I hear gun fire its coming from the North and West side of uptown. There is a few problems as shown but far fewer then the other parts .....
