Looks like Graceland Cemetery is going all out to strengthen the cemetery walls. Not only have the Montrose side fences recently been rebuilt, but the Clark side is now getting buttresses (we knew that word would come in handy someday!) Our only regret is that the hunky workmen who've been making our Clark Street commute a delight the past few days weren't present when we took this photo.

The Buttresses Of Graceland
Looks like Graceland Cemetery is going all out to strengthen the cemetery walls. Not only have the Montrose side fences recently been rebuilt, but the Clark side is now getting buttresses (we knew that word would come in handy someday!) Our only regret is that the hunky workmen who've been making our Clark Street commute a delight the past few days weren't present when we took this photo.

I try and squeeze in "flying buttresses" to my cocktail conversations at least once a week. It ain't easy!
