Its good for the block to get together but they need to turn down the speakers that blast beyond lound all day and night. It sounds like they are in my window the last few years and I had to call the police because they are suppose to stop at 10PM yet they where still blasting at 11PM......
Get out and join in Barry! Don't be the old grouch that calls the cops, it's a block party, it's supposed to be loud. Enjoy the stage and bands and all, what do you expect? It only happens ONCE a year so come out and enjoy it.
I have to agree about the music. It's absolutely unnecessary to have it so loud that you cannot hear each other speak and it scares the neighborhood pets and shakes the windows of my building. Can't there be a party without deafening music playing?
