A reader writes in, on the heels of our post about the new lights at Dearborn Wholesalers:
"Wanted to drop praise when praise is due. I noticed tonight that the Jewel and World Gym at Montrose/Broadway has replaced most (all but 2 of them) of the parking lot lights with brighter lights. I think that this makes a huge improvement in the parking lot especially towards the back of it, as there was barely any light at all before. Now if we can get you to do the last 2, especially the one that is right at the entrance of the fence where people walk into your lot. Come on, you can do it.
Well done, Jewel...not sure if you took the safety of the neighborhood into consideration or just routine maintenance that was longover due. Either way, well done."
We can finally see in the night. It for sure should invite business as it invites safety..........
