Are they still requiring cash? Or are they now accepting credit cards? I may be the only one, but I save up my dry cleaning and often have a very large bill ($75+) and do not have the cash to pick-up. I have sometimes had dry cleaning sit for months (ouch!). Therefore, we started using Lucky Cleaners (ad have been quite pleased with the service).
And one of these days dry cleaners, like just about every other business in the world, will accept in-and-out orders on Sundays (without doing any actual cleaning). There are so few doing this...aren't there any smart entrepreneurs out there who are willing to take advantage of this situation?
Gayle, you are such a contrarian! If you want to put your money where your mouth is, try International Cleaners next to Dib. Open Sundays.
CN - You're right - there are SOME smart dry cleaning places that are open on Sundays and get my business. More of them should get on the bandwagon - there's money to be made in them there dirty clothes!
molly is correct, they don't accept credit cards...its a bit OLD SCHOOL, but i love that all they care about is getting my clothes CLEAN and ready to wear. I have had so many bad experiences where I get ready for work and a button is missing on my fav shirt, or a large hole in my pants that I don't notice until the end of the day...THATS what Agnes and Malden Cleaners do for me!
