We've received several reports of the traffic lights being out at Broadway and Wilson. This is apparently part of an area outage. 911 is aware, be careful out there!
At first I didn't realize they were out (around 6:15 Monday evening) and stood on the corner waiting for the walk signal. I felt rather stupid when I realized what was going on.
Thanks, Craig. Just as an fyi-teaching moment-it would be appropriate to call 911 for this situation. It was an event that was occurring at that moment that required immediate attention.
Regardless, thanks for being a good neighbor and taking the time to make a phone call.
Believe it or not the traffic flow was actually easier without the lights working.
ReplyDeleteLordy! As if I didn't have enough paranoia walking this intersection.

ReplyDeletethe 4-way stop at corner of Buena and Sheridan was out at that same time. I called 311. When came home an hour or so later, was working again.

Lights out equals good place for drug dealers to exchange their deals.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you will see Helen Shiller there campaigning for "change" for her next election LMAO
