Our neighbors at CircEsteem (at Alternatives, 4720 N Sheridan) have a lot in store in the next few months:2009 Spring Circus - Performances will be at Truman College on May 15, 16 & 17. Click on the poster to the left for details.
Circus Summer Camp - Kids will learn circus and performance skills in eight one-week sessions. Read about it here.
Adult Exercise Classes on the Gym Wheel - They say anyone can do it (although we can't quite fancy ourselves wheeling around the house). Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 8:30-10pm, Wednesday mornings from 10-11:30am, and Wednesday nights from 7:30-9pm.
Adult Circus Skills Classes - For anyone who's ever wanted to run away to join the circus and walk on stilts, spin plates, or fly on the trapeze. Information on adult classes is here.

It's great to see that such a great organization like Circesteen is helping the Uptown community.
ReplyDeleteCheck out their upcoming Spring Circus Show. Also if you have a chance sign up for the Adult German wheel classes, which I am taking. It's a great work out and kind of fun to be able to brag that not only hamsters can use a wheel for exercising.
