Will The Last Person Out Of The Building Please Brick Up The Door?
A reader writes: "The workers completed their task @ 4650 Clarendon, yesterday, and here is the result. I hope this isn't a harbinger of things to come."
What the hell. This waste of a building has been sitting vacant for how many years now?? 5 ??. Why doesn't the city intervene and either tear it down or sell it for a dollar. It's bad enough we have so many rat traps vacant in our neighborhood, it's such a waste to have a new building sitting empty year after year.
I live at 4600 N Clarendon and drove my car past here today on my way to the grocery. The address looks to be 4720 N Clarendon and not 4650.
Also, the company that did this must have quite a business. The doorway is sealed off with what appears to be vented, pressed metal panels with their initials in it.
