Did you know there's a Buddhist Meditation Center right next to the Pancake House, at 4720 Racine? We didn't until we saw the new lettering being put up on Sunday.
Turns out it's part of the Wat Phrasriratanamahadhatu Buddhist Temple a block away, on Magnolia. For more information, visit the temple's website.
I've been told that during the '60s there was a Buddist Temple and prayer room on Clifton at Broadway, the current home of Uptown Recording.
