A reader writes: I wanted to alert Uptown Residents that dumpsters are being stolen in our neighborhood.
Last night at 1:30 AM a flatbed truck pulled up and loaded our brand new dumpster onto their truck. The flatbed truck had about a dozen other dumpsters tucked away under a tarp. The men loading the dumpsters had orange reflective vests on to make them look like city workers.
They are not city workers and you should call the police if you see them.
First I lose my goats.

Alas, poor Uptown, I knew thee well.

Could this be Allied Waste replacing their dumpsters after the merger with Republic Services?
