Another Milestone: 1,000,000 Visits

Well, we did it again. As of today, we passed the 1,000,000 visitor mark on Uptown Update and we couldn't have done it without our loyal readers. You have proven that there is a need for information in Uptown...information that is not being made available by the powers-that-be. With your help, we will continue to bring you the latest information on your neighborhood and stories that our mainstream media and elected officials choose to ignore. We've only just begun...

  3. Great Job, UU!

If Uptown Update blog visits were dominoes, this is what it would look like:

    One Million Dominoes

So, what does this have to do with couraj, ONE, Alderman Shiller and Hemp Fest? I'll leave that up to you to figure out, billiejoe.

  5. THANKS UU.

....a wonderful, unerring spotlight shining on the reptilian, shady, myopic, misguided, and sadly bad 46th Ward Office.

  8. I am glad to have been part of the 1 million hits. My wish for the next 1 million is that all of us take to heart the words spoken yesterday by our new president and by the men giving the invocation and benediction for the inaugural. Its time for Uptown to abandon childish things too. How will each and every one of us reach out, abandon dogma and work to create a community that respects the dignity of all? ALL?
