Wilson Men's Club Back In Court December 11

Update: If you can spare an hour or so to be a court advocate/ concerned citizen in housing court, Thursday is the day to get the most cluck for your buck.

Not only will Wilson Men's Hotel be in court that day, Hotel Chateau will have a hearing in the very same courtroom at the very same time.

If you can stick around for another hour, Lakeview's Diplomat Hotel, owned by Jack Gore, who also owns the Chateau, will be in court in Room 1107 at 11am.

Mark your calendars, folks-

Wilson Men's Hotel is back in court on Thursday, December 11, at 9:30am. The hearing will be held at the Daley Center (50 W. Washington), room 1111.

  1. Here are three general reviews on this hotel from "blight," "slum," and "not for me."

    And so it goes.

  2. Here's the unadulterated URL again:

  3. This place should have been shut down years ago. It is a fire trap. But the mayor loves SRO's.

  4. Ah the Diplomat, I once ran the light at Sheffield and Belmont in order to avoid what appeared to be a gun battle that ran from the lobby of the Diplomat out to the street. Nice place.

  5. I'd love to be there re the Chateau, but can't get away from work. In my opinion, it radiates blight at least a block and a half to the north and south on Broadway, Clarendon, and Halsted.

  6. I don't understand how one rationalizes shutting down a social service because it's presence offends one's delicate sensibilities.
