Learn how to save money and prepare your home for winter by attending one of our free weatherization fairs. The fairs showcase ways to weatherize your home using weather stripping, window plastic and other energy-saving means. You can also connect with local and state agencies that may help you save money on your heating bills. A full list of fairs and available assistance can be found at www.cityofchicago.org/Environment.
The Uptown Fair is Friday, November 14th, 3-8pm at Truman College. Click here for a flyer. There are also fairs nearby, in Edgewater and Albany Park, if the Uptown fair isn't convenient.
