The Lakeview Booster says "The Regional Transit Authority, the funding well for all area public transit agencies, including the CTA, is continuing an unprecedented outreach effort this month. The second round of public hearings will be held from Nov. 10 through 19, and everyone and anyone is invited to weigh in. The hearings will cover the transit system's 2009 budget and address long-awaited capital investment needs. The North side hearing will take place Monday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. at Truman College (room 1176), 1145 W. Wilson."
