Well over a year after
we first noticed the lack of artwork in the Aldi display cases, it has finally made its debut. We are sure the students at Uplift School worked hard on these 3 panels that are now displayed on the Broadway side of
Aldi.

There is also a panel that explains how the artwork came to be through a collaboration with 7
th grade students from
Arai (Uplift) and "
Changing Worlds," a nonprofit educational arts program.

There is also more good news. The three northern-most display cases on Broadway are now filled with
Aldi advertising. These cases had been sitting empty
for a year and a half and had been covered in graffiti. Why they did contain advertising till now is a mystery, but as we said, "better late than never."
