"The CTA Ironworkers removed the iron rod 09/11/08. I wish I could take credit for helping to get this fixed by being there or submitting 911 calls, but these workers had already spotted the problem themselves as they were repairing the tracks above and were removing the rod as I passed by. Hats off to them and their proactive approach to delivering city services to our Uptown Neighborhood."
