CTA: Wash Me Please!

We have no clue when the last time our crumbling Wilson L station received a good ol' fashioned scrub down, but judging from the rust and grime covering the exterior, it's safe to say it's been a while. A little soap and power-scrubbing would go a long way.

And while you're at it, CTA, you need to disinfect the "home" of the gentleman who camps out in one of the vacant storefront doorways. Hopefully this will be no longer necessary once the CTA makes it top priority to rent out its storefronts and finds tenants who care about the appearance of the station and their storefronts.

  1. Why this subject is out, I would like ask Mr. Huberman two more quick questions..

    1. Can the abandoned train tracks next to the El line be torn down, seeing the just creates a dark canyon feel and cannot be good for the public safety

    2. Can the El line that goes over Broadway at Leland someday be repainted like they do in the wealthy neighborhoods?

  2. I could NOT agree more.
Especially, as my 'work' stop on the el, is the grand ave. stop, which of course is getting a gleaming renovation. And of course the Addison stop....I guess the Cubs tourists are more important.
    The Wilson stop? Horrible.
