I always get a chuckle out of it, because I think, 21 years in office, the poor are still poor, and yeah, they've suffered enough. Time for a new alderman!
When I first moved here I just assumed that it was the alderman's office. (Her picture in the window and the sayings and all...) The people there had to redirect me!
Well, the "Poor have suffered enough" sign is still there.

At least it isn't as blatant as the others JPUSA allowed to hang there with questionable legality.
