  5. Very observant, anon 1:51. It's the landmarked Sheridan Plaza Hotel, easily seen and admired from the drive-through at the (props to anon 1:18) El Pollo Loco.

  6. Levois,
We have been doing this for quite some time now. We never intentionally copied it from Yo Chicago.
Looking back through our posts, our first "Where Am I Located?" was in August 2007. Not sure if that had debuted on Yo Chicago yet.

  7. UU didn't steal it from Yo. UU stole it from us. Yo might have too. Can't remember which came first, IrishPirate's chicken or the egg.

If you'll recall, we took a picture of a bullet hole that went through someone's garage door somewhere near Leland, east of Sheridan, and asked "Where and what is this?"

The first to answer the question completely and correctly (sorry, Pirate) got a WhatTheHelen!? t-shirt.

That was January of 2007, we think. Or perhaps December of 2006. What we do recall for certain is that it was extremely cold the day we took the photo. Like zero degrees.

Nonetheless, UU is welcome to use the idea royalty free. We grant you an unrestricted license.

  8. This is great and it makes everybody start looking at the great architectural detail in Uptown. But, I think I missed the answers to the nov 29. 2007 "ram" post and the 11-28-2007 lion (?) post. Where are those located? Thanks.

  10. Who bloody cares who came up with it first- the fun point for all is to really take notice of the beautiful buildings in our area.

+ I was stumped- had no clue...

    Keep it up UU!!!
