A reader sent in this photo of the "Wilson Club Hotel" as seen from the Wilson L platform today. It appears a resident has hung an Aldi bag out of their window, why we do not know.
It's beyond minor. It's A BAG HANGING IN A WINDOW. Should this blog report on every other thing hanging from windows? Perhaps it would be noteworthy to look in the alley of this building an determine if the garbage can is shut properly. What useful information does a bag hanging out the window provide us? Will our children be molested? Will drugs be sold? Is it a secret code to for the homeless to invade? Is it inane to even acknowledge? I am with the latter.
Obviously UU can report anything he wants, it's his blog. And if he allows commentary, he will get commentary.
I think the photo highlights what we often see in the neighborhood. We've gotten so use to this kind of cr*p that we often become blind to it. The photo simply reminds us not to get used to it.
I want the owner to get some pressure to do something about this building and anything that highlights the weird happenings around this place is great. Blogs have been known to be powerful to make changes, and this blog has had a history of just that. Besides, the owner should be a little upset that a window is open during the dead of winter.
Yes, it is an extremely odd thing to blog on. And, it is an extremely odd building with an extremely odd number of sex offenders and an extremely odd number of voters who turn up on election day even though they don't really live there, and and extremely odd number of building code violations that never get pursued, and an extremely odd number of persons committing crimes in the community, and so forth. See the pattern?
You white people, I swear. I'm embarrassed to be one of you. The bag is probably a signal. Could be to gang members/drug dealers that inventory's running low or something. C'mon guys. THINK.
Probably because they do not fridges in the rooms.
ReplyDeletewhat an extremely odd thing to blog on. Not really "news", eh? Must be a boring day at the office.
ReplyDeleteWhy is that odd? It's just random. Kind of a minor issue that someone pointed out. Why does your response have to be critical of the blog?
