Cabbie May Have Faked Suicide, Left Cab In Uptown

The 33-year-old cabdriver suspected of shooting his parents apparently attempted to fake suicide as part of an attempt to throw off authorities, according to new federal documents.

Artur Shehu also admitted killing his parents, according to the affidavit filed Friday in U.S. District Court.

  1. The first clue might be that he purposefully parked his cab in a spot marked "$150 fine, Handicapped Parking Only" in a Park District parking lot filled with empty spaces. Sort of gives the impression he wanted his escape vehicle to be found.

    But hey, we enjoyed watching the police bloodhounds tracking.
