We planned this one for weeks.
AFTERNOON
Yet, days before my girlie-girlfriend and I get to our afternoon holiday-inspired tea at the Drake Hotel, we agonize over what to wear. We want to look like proper ladies who lunch, seeing as how we're both fancy tea first-timers who want to fit in.
It's not that we've never had afternoon tea before, or held our pinkie fingers up in the air while sipping on some hot liquid floating inside a delicate imprinted teacup. We have. Just not at a place where the valet guy dresses better at his job than we do for ours.
