ReplyDeleteAnonymous. We are definitely not the biggest fans of the Alderman, but insinuating, even in a joking way, that she is a "lady of the night" is a bit absurd. If you have facts supporting that statement, please share. I think its common sense what you can joke about. Please contribute but in a "relatively" civil manner, please.
ReplyDeleteI thought the Censored persons comments were funny. And even one Alderman stated that on FBI tape that all Aldermnan are prostitutes so I don't think it was that absurd but rather funny. Let's put it this way she would have no problem bashing JC or Bad Apples of Uptown so why shouldn't we be able to bad mouth her.

ReplyDeleteGood points raised. Its all a matter of how the commenter intended to use the term. We just don't want a bunch of comments that could come back and bite someone in the future. We do not censor much at all but we ask our commenters to use common sense and maybe explain themselves better when using terms such as "prostitute." Carry on. Now back to the subject of this post. Is anyone planning to attend?
No I have a full time job in the loop to pay my condo mortgage and for Mayor Daley TiFFS so I can't take the time off to have lunch with her. Once again she schedules so working people can't attend. Wonder if she planned it that way?

Maybe a "Dinner With The Alderman" would yield better results. More residents could attend. Sounds like a good idea to us.
ReplyDeleteBad Alderbeast create Bad Apples - period. She shows the taxpayers no respect. You have to earn respect. She has not. She has to remember who pays for her to work three days a week four hours a day. On top of that, we have to pay to get the right to talk to her and take off work. Which by the way is how we pay her to under serve Uptown. Ultimate lack of respect!!!!!! I wish I could tell the people who pay me to work for them that they are bad apples. Again lack of respect. And, yes if a an alderman can call his co-workers prostitutes, then so can the taxpayers who are forced to fund the fraud of Uptown.

ReplyDeleteShiller is not able to comprehend why people are angry. That's her blindside. She will never get it.
Shiller knows why people are angry because she is inept and a crook with some weird psychological issues left from her a)hippie days or b) childhood or both.

I am telling her to go back to New York City or Vermont where she is from.
Just remember we pay these Alderman's and Mayor salaries and the only ones that get anything back are their corrupt croonies that get sweet contracts.
I might add I don't think elected officials should be able to serve in the same elected capacity for 20 years.
