  1. I wonder exactly where this is going to be. They better not tear my Village Thrift Shop down!

  2. By the way, this area of Clark Street has been designated a Pedestrian Street, just like the Broadway in Tom Tunney and Mary Ann Smith wards. In Shiller's ward, they do not follow the Pedestrian Street guidelines thus developments, like the Aldi store, are built with their butts to the street and no windows in front.

The Pedestrian Street classification is the most desirable zoning classification meant to encourage transportation, street safetly, and business development. Hell, why would the Alderbeast or Holstein want that in the Wilson TIF?

  3. This development is actually almost done... the first two buildings are up and the third is under construction now... the poster was a little behind the times!! The look pretty nice and the front units are almost identical to the units at 4717-4747 N Clark, just to the south.

  4. We don't think its a matter of us being "behind the times" as much as it was the first time we recall seeing a complete rendering of the project. We featured this building in a post a while back but at the time did not know it would extend further to the north. We think it looks pretty good.
