From CBS 2 News Chicago:
Authorities have ruled that a 62-year-old man's drowning in Lake Michigan off Montrose Beach Saturday was a homicide. Du Doan, of the 6100 block of North Kimball Avenue, was pronounced dead Saturday morning. Water rescue crews from the Fire Department were called to Montrose Beach for a report of a man in the lake, and found his body within two minutes of arriving just before 6 a.m., fire officials said. The man was found in about 20 feet of "dark, murky water," Fire Media Affairs Chief Kevin MacGregor said. Doan was pronounced dead at nearby Weiss Memorial Hospital. In an autopsy Sunday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office ruled that he died in a drowning, and the manner of death was a homicide.
