We have been wondering whats up with this huge lot in the 4600 block of Malden. It has been empty for sometime now. A park would be nice. Anyone have info on this?
I believe that lot used to be a site that contained an old Sears catalogue home. The lot(s) were sold to a developer who knocked down the house against the wishes of local residents. A large condo building was planned, but the developer ran into some odd zoning issues which may have been brought forth by the disgruntled neighbors.
