Putting A Happy Face On Happy Wash

We heard from the Tom and Sheila Donoghue, the new owners of Happy Wash laundromat (located at 1367 W Wilson).  The couple bought the laundry a few months ago and are in the process of updating the facilities, both inside (new dryers) and out (resurfacing the parking lot). 

It's a work in progress, and the Donoghues are enthusiastic about what they're doing, which they refer to as "bringing Happy back to life!"  If you've been turned off by Happy Wash's "vintage" appearance and equipment in the past, consider giving them another try.  We thank the Donoghues for investing in Uptown and making life a little easier for Happy Wash's customers.
