  1. Will this be the year we see Shiller put up some garbage and show the community she atleast cares about clean street. Somehow I doubt it, but I still wait to have her prove me wrong. 5 years and counting

  2. Any plans for the rest of Uptown? Buena Park is probably the cleanest part of the neighborhood.

  3. Check with your block club. I know that Truman Square, for one, is getting together that day.

Or, you can do it on your own. Streets and San will provide equipment. I've done it in my area most years, sometimes alone, sometimes with an organized group. Once it was two neighbors and me, and we were able to clean up a really nasty empty lot in just an hour and a half.

  4. This is a wonderful way to show everyone in a neighborhood that people care what goes on there. Just like the positive loitering a few weeks ago on Sunnyside, Clean and Green or a Public Garden allows everyone who walks by to see that neighbors want the area to remain safe and clean. Plus it can be a fun way to meet your neighbors.
