The Sheridan Park Community Yard Sale Has Been Cancelled For 2020

Another popular Uptown tradition has been cancelled due to COVID concerns: The Sheridan Park Community Yard Sale, which has been held the first Saturday in August for over 25 years, won't be happening this year.

The decision was announced this week, with regrets. The organizers felt that it's just too hard to assure social distancing during such a popular, crowded event.

Of course, if you want to hold your own yard sale, that's up to you. Permits can be obtained through the office of your alderman.

Saturday, August 7th, 2021, is the tentative date of the next Sheridan Park Community Yard Sale.
