Although this is sad, it does not surprise me one bit.
From the time Longacre opened there was never any consistency with the store front. The hours constantly changed, the menu was always rotating, there were times where my wife and I went to get dinner there and there were signs that the dough ran out or the chef was not in work.
I really hope the owner takes the time to figure out the next concept.
It does not help that Baker Nosh (a FAVORITE of Uptown) used to be at that spot. And now this...
Amen to that! Baker and Nosh was a major loss and these guys have taken over the entire block of shops to explore their whims. They should get serious or let someone else use the spaces.

DeleteIs the last day Sunday the 15th or Saturday the 14th?
ReplyDeleteAre they going to have real hours or keep with their only-on-Saturdays-when-the-moon-is-full style of opening the shop.
