From Alderman Osterman's newsletter:
Chicago Methodist Senior Services seeks volunteers for a wind chime project. CMSS at Wesley Place, 1415 W. Foster Ave., is looking for folks to help construct a large art installation.
No experience is required and everyone can take part.
Volunteers will spend time with residents and rehab patients wrapping sticks with yarn. It’s just that simple.
Once the sticks are wrapped, small bells and eye-hooks will be attached, and together will be hung under the awning to be exhibited during Andersonville Arts Week starting Sept. 16.
Please contact Jenn Ross, Art Programming Coordinator, at 269-567-4358 or jenn.ross@cmsschicago.org if you are interested.
