Save The Date For Independence Day Fireworks

As the weather oh-so-slowly gets warmer, many of us have begun thinking about Independence Day. If you've been around for a bit, you know that Uptown enjoys a local fireworks show, easily viewed from the north end of the community, thanks to our neighbors at a tucked-away country club.

The Saddle & Cycle Club, at Foster and Marine, has confirmed that it will be holding its annual fireworks display at approximately 9pm on Thursday, July 4th.

While only members of the club and their guests may watch from inside the club grounds, the fireworks can easily be seen from the surrounding areas. You can watch the show from Kathy Osterman Beach, Foster Avenue Beach, Margate Park, and from friends' homes along Foster Avenue and Marine Drive.

If your view looks south, Navy Pier will also be holding its traditional fireworks show on July 4th.
