Christopher House (Leland & Winthrop) hosted their annual Read-A-Thon event on February 27th from 3:30pm – 5:00pm at Christopher House’s Uptown Family Resource Center where scholars and parents participated in various reading activities to promote reading and literacy.

At the event,
Christopher House parents and scholars signed a reading commitment contract, participated in numerous reading activities and other fun activities such as face painting and cooking decorating. Additionally, thanks to some incredible donors, each scholar left the event with new books to fill their home libraries.
