Ald. Cappleman's latest newsletter says,
"This Saturday, I'll be hosting a back-to-school event at Gill Park. It will feature free backpacks and school supplies for the first 150 kids, free children's books, free food (hot dogs and hamburgers) a fire truck to tour, sign-ups for the new CPS universal preschool program, information about Park District fall programs, Girl Scouts, and more!
WHAT: Back-to-school event including free backpacks and school supplies
WHERE: Gill Park, 825 W. Sheridan Road
WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 18, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you can't join us this time, I will be hosting a second back-to-school event at Clarendon Park, 4501 N. Clarendon, on Saturday, Aug. 25."
