Roy Taylor, Age 65, Missing From Uptown (Updated: Located Safely!)

Update 5/16/18: Although we haven't heard anything official from the CPD, a reader who works in the building where Mr. Taylor lives says, "Just wanted everyone to know we located Roy at a Hospital. I can only guess that with no ID and serious memory difficulties they had a difficult time identifying him. Good News he is well. Thanks all for your help." So happy to hear this!

Original Post:  Roy Taylor, age 65, has not been seen since May 11th, and is considered an endangered missing person.

He was last seen the Friday evening on the 4900 block of Kenmore. He takes daily medication, which he did not have with him when he went missing.

Mr. Taylor is 5'7", and 140 lbs. He is African-American, with graying black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black tam hat, blue jeans and white gym shoes, and possibly wearing a blue or dark brown coat.  He has a tattoo on his forearm.

Mr. Taylor is probably disoriented and cannot find his way home without assistance.

If you have any information about him, please call 911 or the Area North Special Victims Unit at (312)-744-8266.

  2. This man has very serious memory problems. He lives in the building I work in, and often when he returns he cannot remember what room he lives in, so I take him home. He's a sweet guy. If you spot him Please call CPD!
