"Uptown Doughnuts" Coming Soon To 1122 W. Wilson

We had wondered what was in store for the one story retail building just west of the tracks on Wilson. At one time, Viet Bowl occupied one space with Hing Wang Chinese in the middle. The two businesses consolidated into one and more recently, the windows of the old Viet Bowl were covered.

Now we know what the plan was...to open a doughnut shop in the former Viet Bowl space at 1122 W. Wilson!

The shop is currently navigating the city's inspection process, with the most recent inspection being on February 21. Once we hear of an opening date, we will pass it along.

In the meantime, keep an eye on the Wilson Avenue storefront as well as their Facebook page.
