Zen and the Art of Escalator Maintenance

There have been questions about the escalators at the new Wilson station being out of service, so we reached out to our contact at the project management firm. This is what he said this afternoon:

The extreme cold has been causing problems for the escalators. As of this afternoon, the east escalator and both elevators are running. The reason the west escalator has not been fixed yet is they are waiting for a specialty part to come in – hopefully sometime next week.

While not having escalators is annoying, we didn't have them for years prior to this. Let's have some patience -- and in the meantime, take the stairs if you're able, and the elevators if you're not, while they continue to make adjustments to get everything working.
