The Tribune ran an editorial over the weekend wondering why the ICC has been taking so long to make a decision about Lincoln Towing's future.
It pointed out that it's been "almost two years since the Illinois Commerce Commission began a hearing process to determine whether Lincoln Towing — a magnet for complaints from motorists who say their cars were wrongfully towed — should have its license suspended or revoked."
Ald. Pawar added a tweet saying:
The battle against Lincoln Towing continues. I’m going to have @ChicagoBACP audit Lincoln Towing while we wait for @ILCommerceComm to decide on their license to operate. #RevokeWe agree, it's far too long since this process began. Kudos to Ald. Pawar for doing what he can while we wait for the state agency to get into gear.
