If you haven't done the annual Walk on Wilson before, it's a blast! Uptown United just announced the date for this year's Walk -- December 1st.
"Business Partners - The Chamber for Uptown is hosting our 4th Annual WINTER WALK ON WILSON on Friday, December 1 from 5-7PM. This FREE event features sweet treats, warm drinks, and menu samples offered by local Uptown businesses and organizations as well as live holiday music along the Wilson commercial corridor from Clark to Sheridan.
We’re pleased to announce this year’s event will also feature cultural activities provided by the Haitian American Museum of Chicago-HAMOC and the Vietnamese Association of Illinois as well as a special FLATSstudio popup art gallery showcasing local artists.
Bring the kids, take a selfie with Santa, and stick around as we cap off the evening at 7PM with a tree and menorah lighting in the winter garden at 1303 W. Wilson (corner of Malden & Wilson).
