JJ Peppers Has Left The Building
We still don't know the future of the storefront (or liquor license), but it's clear that JJ Peppers as we knew it is gone. You can still go to nearby Asha Foods (4826 N Sheridan), Finest Food & NY Subz (4759 N Sheridan), and SaveMore Fresh Market (4652 North Sheridan) for your quick shopping needs.

Bye, Bye! Never bought anything more there after the first time. Most everything double in price. I like Shop and Save at 4600 N. Sheridan at Wilson much better and sadly not mentioned above. Great for a quick jaunt.

ReplyDeleteSadly, SaveMore Fresh Market is anything but Fresh. That store is not long for this world.
ReplyDeleteI will second the Shop and Save shout-out. That's a great little market with incredibly fresh produce, constantly restocked shelves and a great deli inside.
That store is terrible. Bad produce that is rotted. They need to go
ReplyDeleteI remember a snowy day, and sloshing around the corner to buy a 12-pack of beer to share with the guys who had just moved me into my condo.

JJ Peppers was the go-to for a bottle of wine and Little Debbies Raisin Creme Pies.
There were also some wonderful people who worked there, and I will miss them.
