A Brief Glimpse Into Uptown's Past

Now that the Wilson L renovation is entering the homestretch, the repaving of Broadway is underway.

As workers jackhammer away the pothole-filled asphalt above, an interesting view of Uptown's streetcar past is revealed below. Cobblestones and the remains of streetcar tracks are clearly visible at Broadway & Leland. If you are interested to see this bit of history, you should check it out soon before it vanishes.
