Pink markings foretell the upcoming streetscape

If you have been down Broadway near Lawrence lately, you might have noticed lots of new painted arrows and numbers all over the sidewalks and even into the street. They are generally done by surveyors to denote which areas of sidewalk are to be removed and replaced. That means the much-anticipated Broadway Streetscape is about to begin. We can look forward to new sidewalks, lighting, Uptown-branded banners and an outdoor plaza area in front of the Riviera.
